VINYL is NM/EX+
Full gloss vinyl is extremely clean; NM throughout except for 1 barely noticeable surface hairline on last track, Side Two, that is inaudible. LP plays NM, Like New throughout. Labels are pristine both sides.

COVER is VG+
Clean and crisp with straight edges and sharp corners all around. Faint wear at bottom; few light indents and mild handling creases. Promo punch in u.r. corner. Dedicated and signed by JOHN MARTYN. Seams and spine 100% intact with no wear or splits.

Signed in person by John Martyn at the January 26, 1973 Winterland, San Francisco concert.
John was actually bottom bill, opening act for Traffic and Free -needless to say a stupendous night of music!
SIGNED and DEDICATED: "To Jim!, G'Luck! John Martyn" in ball-point ink.

John was very approachable - and sat right down on the front of the stage to sing and play for much of his set - ending with a long, mesmerizing "Glstening Glyndenbourne" (one of the highlights on this LP and easily my all-time favorite John Martyn instrumental piece).

Between sets, my friend Jim and I both talked to him for a bit - Jim more, as he had this album to get signed. We were both radio DJs at the time and I also booked some concerts but John was heading out and was not coming back to the West Coast any time soon. I backed off and let Jim get the LP signed and they talked for quite a while, John continuing to keep pen to the cover for much longer than a mere signature would take. When they were done and I looked, I saw that Martyn had done some wiggly filigree around his name - perhaps because it looked good with his wind-blown hair on the cover, or possibly because he was as fried as we were ...the night was early, but it was a good night in San Francisco! Many years later, this signed copy would become mine, along with many other LPs that Jim sold me.

An incredible album and a personal favorite, with "Head and Heart", "Go Easy", the title track: "Bless The Weather" and the afore-mentioned "Glistening Glyndenbourne" being highlights not only of this LP, but of John Martyn's entire career.

If you know the album well, I'm sure you agree...
