JOHN COLTRANE "BLUE TRAIN" LP - On Blue Note Records, #1577. Extremely rare vintage jazz Lp from 1957! Original MONO pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the 47 WEST 63RD NYC address on the labels. The label is Deep Groove with the "EAR" and RVG stamp in the trail-off on both sides. Thick vinyl, thick laminated cardboard cover. The personnel: Lee Morgan/trumpet; John Coltrane/tenor sax; Curtis Fuller/trombone; Kenny Drew/piano; Paul Chambers/bass; "Philly" Joe Jones/drums. The thick cardboard cover is in excellent shape and displays wonderfully. Two owner signatures on back side faintly in fine blue pen. NO signatures are touching any text of notes. There are NO seam splits, NO cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking. Address on back cover is 47 West 63rd St., New York 23. The glossy vinyl is in VG+ to VG++ condition with some light marks or scuffs.
