Description
On offer is the Joe Tex Rock 'N' Roll US Import 7" Single "Cut It Out" from 1958.
This is a rare early single from Joe Tex who is best known for his soul records from the 60s and 70s.
This is a truly superb uptempo Rock 'N' Roll track with an unbeliveable raunchy vocal. Written by Chuck Willis. The B-Side is a more restrained Fats Domino style midtempo R&B dancer. Written by Joe Tex himself. Oddly he his credited on the label as "The Rock And Roll Cowboy".
Failed to sell even locally but stands out as one of the finest Rock 'N' Roll records I've heard in a long time.
This is the original US Import release on the Ace label from Jackson, Mississippi.
