JOE FARRELL QUARTET –
CTI Gate 6003 –
BEST!
Terrific recording by Rudy Van Gelder, of the Joe Farrell Quartet when it was comprised of Chick Corea on piano, Dave Holland on bass, John McLaughlin on guitar, and Jack De Johnette on drums.
Great selection include CIRCLE IN THE SQUARE, SONG OF THE WIND, COLLAGE FOR POLLY, MOTION, ALTER EGO, and MOLTEN GLASS, among others.
Laminated gatefold is without major fault, just one softened corner (nothing serious) and some staining within the gatefold along the bottom (coffee?).
Within, is the CTI platter in near-mint shape.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
