Here is the Very rare and highly sought after original classic Lp by Domato on the Blue Thumb label Cat No BTS 8821 , released 1970.
In 1970, João Donato, one of the greatest Bossa Nova pianists and composers, recorded the most experimental record of his career which resulted in a unique fusion between Brazilian music, jazz, funk, rock and electronic music. It can boast the participation of exceptional musicians such as Bud Shank, Dom Um Romão, Oscar Castro Neves and Warren Klein and arrangements in partnership with Eumir Deodato. – This has become a landmark for contemporary modern music “A Bad Donato” (1970), recorded for Blue Thumb, a California-based label, Recorded in Los Angeles, “A Bad Donato” condenses funk, psychedelia, soul music, Afro-Cuban sounds and jazz fusion. A groovy, poisoned-sound dancing Donato, – highly wired with the Californian dream’s experimentalism - considered as one of the 100 best albums of all time by the Rolling Stone magazine.
This wildly funky album Donato created with arranger Eumir Deodato , A Bad Donato stands as one of the great sleeper psych-funk party blasts of the 70s.Totally essential!!!

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet booklet or poster are inperfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
