Description

Troubadour is the fourth studio album by J. J. Cale.  It was released on the Shelter Record label in 1976 and the album up for bid is a first pressing from Columbia Records Santa Maria pressing plant.  The album consists of 12 tracks with a run time of 36+ minutes.  Long known as a songwriter, the late Mr. Cale could also get down with the other musicians that recorded her works.  This album contains the great song "Cocaine".
The cover is VG condition.  There is very mild signs of wear along the bottom edge, but there are no split seams.  There is faint signs of disc wear on the top front cover.  There no bent corners or markings on the album.  The back cover shows some sign of wear at the top of the cover (see photos).
The paper inner sleeve is original and has printed lyrics and production information on both sides.  There is a very small split seam at the botton of the sleeve.  I have taken the precaution to enclose the recording in an anti static sleeve for protection from dust accumalation.
The recording is clean and has been tested with Audacity.  There is no skipping of the tracks.  The are 3 very mild "clicks" on Side 2, track 4 (Let Me Do It To You) that do not interfere with the listening experience.  The disk surfaces are smooth and do not show significant wear, scratches or scuffs.  The labels are clean and unmarked.
