Description
A nice original copy of the 1960 Forrest Fire album by Jimmy Forrest on the New Jazz label (NJLP 8250). The notable musicians here include Larry Young and Jimmy Smith.
The purple and silver labels read: “New Jazz – A Product of Prestige Records Inc., 203 S. Washington Ave., Bergenfield, N.J.” The following matrix number is hand-etched in the trail offs: “NJLP 8250” along with a machine-etched “RVG” on both sides. This feels like a heavier weight piece of vinyl.
The sleeve is VG, still mostly in the original shrink wrap. The front is still quite glossy with dinged corners. The back cover has some spots of water damage/staining along the bottom edge/corners.
The vinyl is VG+ (7 out of 10, record is clean and glossy with a few scuffs. I would have graded higher if not for a couple strange discolorations on side 1. I skipped through them and they produce a hint of crackle at times but no skips on my player). This LP comes from a non-smoking home. The record you see in the picture is the record you will receive.

I usually ship within 24 hours of receiving payment. I will combine shipping if you win multiple items (I calculate the price by weight with a nominal shipping and handling charge). Also, I tend to recycle boxes, but I always make sure to pack items, particularly records, securely.
