Description
JIMI HENDRIX: Electric Ladyland, UK Track 1968 1st pressing LP, Track 613008/9 double LP. A//1, B//1, A//1, B//1 matrixes, with partially scracthed-out & corrected matrixes like on all first issues of this LP.
This is the rarest version of this LP, the 'blue text' cover with small white Track logo and text below it. On standard 1st issue covers, the small text is also blue. I imagine this is a kind of transitional cover, where the small part of the text was changed to white (from blue), before the bigger text-part followed later. It could also be the very 1st variation, if the change was from white to blue. No definite information seems to exist about this. In any case, this must by (by far) the rarest Electric Ladyland cover there is. Please study the pictures closely.
The 4 sides of the vinyls are graded VG++ to EXCELLENT, side A being VG++, side B EXCELLENT, side C VG++, side D EXCELLENT. All 4 sides play with superb sound, EXCELLENT+ to NM from A to Z.
COVER is VG+, see pics. No major problems, aside form a small re-glued rip on the inside of the gatefold, see pics. Otherwise just some light creases, good spines, no splits. See pics.
The original polyinner are lacking the plastic part, and have a 108 date code (meaning Oct. 68).

I SHIP IN BRAND NEW CRUCIFORM shipping boxes with stiffeners & extra corner protection always added. .The boxes are slightly bigger than the normal LP-size, thereby providing good protection of corners and edges. I remove LPs from sleeves, in order to prevent seam-splits on transit.

GRADINGS
- MINT- is superb, almost like new. No marks, scratches, clicks, noise, or anything else.
- EX is also VERY nice, 2-3 light marks perhaps, no disturbing noise, great sound quality.
- VG+, a nice player, but probably has some visual impairments, and some clicks or light noise in places; always see the individual description.
- VG: Rarely put of for sale, an ok copy, but always see the individual description.
