DESCRIPTION:
We are pleased to offer this sensational UK first pressing of JIMI HENDRIX ''ELECTRIC LADYLAND'' original UK Track 1ST UK PRESSING Featuring the EARLIEST 1ST ISSUE BLUE TEXT within the E.DAY & CO 'NUDE' GATEFOLD sleeve! With larger pictures of Mitch Mitchell and Noel Redding (these pictures were shrunk on all later pressings) And the EARLIEST POSSIBLE ‘Corrected’ Matricies: RECORD ONE: A-1 & B-1 RECORD TWO A1 & B1 as well as the all important Inverted cat. Numbers on the Track first press labels.
Very little introduction is required for this classic double LP psych masterpiece. It is important however to note that first pressings are becoming very hard to find in reasonable condition…This example boasts both records in solid EX+ condition with superb looks and fantastic loud audio direct from the master plates!

CONDITION:
A note on grading, we use the Record Collector grading system with the addition of a (+) or a (-) to denote a slight increase or decrease in condition. Items described with an aural grade have been carefully played on a Garrard 301 grease bearing turntable paired with a Kondo Silver wired SME 3012 Series 1 tonearm and Koetsu Rosewood Cartridge.

The UK Track first pressing labels display superbly showing barely any signs of use to the spindle holes, no stickers, writing, rips tears or other detractors. The playing surfaces are flat and true. Under direct angled light the surfaces display a full and complete lustre.
Side A = the lightest Paper Scuffs ONLY which are non audible. Grade = EX/NM
Side B = the lightest Paper Scuffs ONLY which are non audible. Grade = EX/NM
Side C = the lightest Paper Scuffs ONLY which are non audible. Grade = EX/NM
Side D = the lightest Paper Scuffs ONLY which are non audible. Grade = EX/NM
Aurally the UK first issue Electric Lady Land pressings are superior to all subsequent pressings, direct from the original master the Stereo sound is unsurpassed…The example available in this auction is possibly the best example we have heard = EX-NM! (Excellent to Near Mint)
Cover
Due to the nature of the ‘Nude’ cover under eBay regulations we are unable to show the fully laminated cover in it’s entirety.
The front of the G/F displays very well, all coulours are bright and true, no stickers, writing or tears. As with most copies some laminate wrinkle is visible on the right hand side.
The spine displays well (See above image), with some light rubbing and laminate creasing. The top and bottom seems are in tact showing some rubbing as befitting an LP of this age. The opening edges display some feathering. The corners show rubbing through the print of the cover.
The fully laminated inside of the gate-fold displays very well (Please see image above) with all colours vibrant and present – some lamination wrinkle visible. The back cover also displays well with some lamination wrinkle only no stickers, rips, tears, writing, ring wear or other detectors to either side of this fragile cover. Grade = Genuine Very Good (VG))
