JIM CROCE ROLLER DERBY QUEEN RARE 7" ACETATE DISC FOR 45 !
This is an original (circa 1973) PRODUCTION ACETATE used in the making of the 45 single "Roller Derby Queen". The label is a generic acetate/demonstration ABC/Dunhill blank with the artist, title, and publishing company information typed in (as was the practice when making acetates in the 70's). The address and contact information for the production company appears on the label as well. Like most acetates, it has an aluminum core with a laquer finish in which the ORIGINAL recording was cut. The back side is completely blank. This acetate is extremely rare since only a few were ever made during the production process It is truly a piece of JIM CROCE history and would be a prized piece in any Jim Croce collection!!! The condition is MINT!!!
