Rare OCTOBER 8, 1973 "AUDIO/PRINT MAGAZINE" VINYL LP album release (Vol. 2, Issue 7) from PROGRAMMER'S DIGEST ("The Voice of Broadcasting"), the highlight of which is several items pertaining to the late JIM CROCE, who tragically passed away in a plane crash the previous month (on September 20, 1973) in Natchitoches, Louisiana. First is what turned out to be HIS LAST PRINT INTERVIEW, which was conducted by then-Northwestern State University (NSU, Natchitoches, LA) senior Melanie Babina for the school newspaper just before Croce gave a 40 minute concert at the school. One hour later Croce and his troupe of five were killed in the crash of their twin engine Beechcraft plane. A PHOTO OF CROCE'S CRASHED PLANE also appears with the interview. The vinyl LP includes an approximately 5-MINUTE LONG AUDIO INTERVIEW with Croce conducted a short time before his death by WMAK, Nashville DJ Coyote McCloud. Finally, a PHOTO FROM CROCE'S FINAL CONCERT appears on the cover of the LP. This LP was not available in stores, and was only available via subscription to radio broadcasters. Not available on CD. Cover and 5-page print magazine are in nice VG+ condition. Vinyl visually in VG+ condition. The Croce interview exhibits some crackling and may skip in a couple places depending on how light your turntable's tone arm is set (the heavier set, the better).

(M) MINT: Perfect, flawless, new
(NM) NEAR MINT: Almost perfect, possibly no more than a few MINOR scuffs, wrinkles or wear.
(EXCELLENT/VG++) Less quality than Near Mint, but still in beautiful condition.
(VG+) Very Good+. Some scratches or scuffs, some surface markings, some wear, etc. Nice overall.
(VG) Very Good. Too many scratches, scuffs, or wear for VG+, but still in okay condition.
(VG-) Very Good-. Lots of wear (scratches, etc.). Starter copy.
(G) Good. Wrecked. Excessive wear.
(P) Poor. Just what it says.
