This auction is for one of the holy grails for the Tull collector, a white label promo sample lp by Jethro Tull, Benefit, audiophile Japanese pressing with 2 inserts, in near mint to mint condition. I'm not saying mint because it's not sealed, but it's as close to perfect as you're going to get. NO spindle marks and flawless vinyl. The cover is also near perfect, just the lightest wear, and the wear is only visible at the right angle under bright light. It does have a roughly 1/8 inch corner ding upper right, but it doesn't really detract from the beauty of this gem. Label is EMI Chrysalis WWS 71012, 2 inserts, one the standard 1 page Japan lyric insert, the other a promo flyer for a sold out Tokyo show. (see picture) The labels are bright white and mint! This one is an absolute treasure! Let me know if you need more info.

Grading - We've all bought in good faith and received junk. Not here! Here's how I grade

Mint - Perfect
Near Mint - Near perfect. I've seen descriptions that say near mint with minor scuffs or scratches. Hello??? If there are scuffs or scratches, it's NOT near mint!
Excellent - Normal LIGHT wear. An item that's been handled or played, but still an enjoyable listening experience.
Very Good - Noticeable wear, expect some surface noise.
Poor - A Frisbee. You won't see any of that here.

I've been at this since 1964, and I've accumulated lots more than I need or will ever listen to. Watch for audiophile and Japanese pressing, Quadraphonic lps, and the best of the 60's and 70's. Thanks for looking, and good luck!
