Hello- I'm Bill, and over the next few weeks I'll be selling off my treasured record collection, a course of action forced on me by an imminent move and enforced retirement. I've collected music all my adult life, and will be sad to see it all go . My tastes have varied over the years, as you'll see, but folk and rock have been the backbone of my collection.Over the next few weeks there will be some rarities appearing, believe me! All records will be in at least EX condition, and a lot of NM's too. I'm loathe to use NM, once it's played, it's played, but I try to stick to the RC guidelines, even if my grading is too severe! All records are inspected under a good light, and none are cleaned, only brushed. I know everyone has their own favourite cleaning methods, so why deprive you of the pleasure?(Jan 06)

This has got to be the best JEFFERSON AIRPLANE SURREALISTIC PILLOW package seen!!

The ORIGINAL U.K FIRST STEREO PRESSING from 1966!! THE RAREST OF THE RARE!!

This can be seen from the RIDGED,RED-SPOT, BLACK RCA LABEL!!

Virtually all the 1966 copies were MONO, the GENUINE 1966 STEREO COPY WITH 1K/1K MATRIX IS IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!! 1968 and 1969  Stereo, non-ridged versions can be found, but this earliest version just does’nt turn up!!

As if that was not good enough, this vinyl is in unbelievable condition! One faint wispy hairline , and a couple of paper scuffs- really light!!

The Clout and Baker laminated-front cover is in superb condition, too. The front is clean and shiny, and virtually without wear! The back is very,very clean.

There is only one thing wrong with this album- THEY DIDN’T PUT “WHITE RABBIT” on the UK  ISSUE. So the track that everybody associates with SURREALISTIC PILLOW isn’t even on it!! Neither is the saucily- titled  “PLASTIC FANTASTIC LOVER”

But I have the answer!!

Buy the rarest UK version, and as a free extra, I’ll add the AUSTRALIAN version of “PILLOW”, which has BOTH titles in the tracklist!FOR FREE!!! Pressed at the famous ALBERT & SON works, this makes a real bonus!!

A unique package, this one is a real collector’s piece. As good as it gets.

All records are repacked into Nagaoka anti-static sleeves and card inners, with the original inners and cover separate to maintain condition, and posted in heavy duty mailers wth stiffeners.Postage is a non-profit affair- no £5 jobs here!
