.If you look at the pic of the label...this is not the original one in the violin. The one in the violin is VERY faded." A Paris "is there but the date is so faded it is not readable.Jean Robert  Chibon Worked circa. 1753-1785 Paris France. Trade quality work. Established at rue de la Sourdière until c.1775. Subsequently at rue de la Comtesse d’Artois c.1775-1779, and finally at rue de la Grande Tissanderie c.1783-1785. Brand: ‘Chibon à Paris’. Printed label: Fait par / Jean-Robert Chibon, Maître Luthier / rue de la Sourdière au coin de la rue Saint-Honoré / A Paris 1757.  With this violin being this old you would think a neck/ scroll graft would be there.
