Up for auction is the Jazz LP by Thelonius Monk, "Brilliant Corners," Riverside Records, RLP 12-226, 1957, Mono.  Label is blue and white.

Lineup for this album is: Thelonius Monk, piano; Ernie Henry, alto sax; Sonny Rollins, tenor sax; Oscar Pettiford, bass; Max Roach, drums.

The record is in very good condition. I see one set of very light scuff marks on Side 2, that's all. The labels are in excellent condition, with just some slight chipping around record hole on Side 1. The album cover is in good condition. The laminated front has some light record wear and discoloration, especially along opening edge. There are two chips out of the seam. The bottom left corner is visibly worn and will start splitting without care. Upper and lower seams are fine, with no wear or splitting. The back is good, with only light age discoloration. The original price is written in pencil on the upper corner.

NOTE ON PACKING: Records are shipped out of sleeve. Both record and cover are bagged and bubble wrap is put between record cover and record and cardboard before being wrapped in cardboard record mailer. Extra cardboard or bubble wrap is used to protect corners. If you have a postal service that is particularly hard on packages, let me know. Since I ship worldwide, I realize that some packages might need a little extra padding or care.
