On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Jazz Couriers called "The Last Word" and is an INCREDIBLY rare 1959 UK 1st pressing on the 1st Press 'Grooved' Tempo label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE!!!! IT IS ONE OF THE RAREST UK JAZZ LPS EVER AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!! ARTISTS FEATURING ON THIS LP ARE:- RONNIE SCOTT, TUBBY HAYES, KENNY NAPPER, TERRY SHANNON, AND PHIL SEAMEN. NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION OVERALL!!!! THIS IS THE 1959 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS 'GROOVED' TEMPO LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS FLIPBACK FULLY LAMINATED COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!! The Cat. No is TAP 26 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Grooved' Tempo label (see picture) and is a 1959 MONO 1st pressing!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 1 MEGA light hairline, only 2 or 3 ULTRA faint wispy scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle!!!! The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!! The record must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve!!!! The 1st Press Flipback FULLY Laminated Cover is in GREAT condition!!!! The cover has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few light creases (cover is flat looking), and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the laminated back has NO writing, only some VERY slight yellowing (slightly more toward the bottom), NO grubbyness, and a few creases to the bottom flipback. There is also NO splits, NO rips, NO tears, and NO writing - which is VERY rare on this cover!!!! The cover must grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed) if not better!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!
