From the ACID ARCHIVES review on page 127: "Nice rural folk LP by Vermont hippies, very well concieved, performed, amd recorded. It's an intriguing mix of styles, from British-type folk to a variety of old American musical genres (not just folk but blues and vocal jazz). The mix of all things Americana evoke The Insect Trust and the laid back vocal style and violin sound a bit like Fraser & DeBolt, but Jacob's Reunion is nowhere near as strange ..... it's a good album with the highlights being the two long, dreamy almost eerie side-closers.
