DEBUT SOLO album from the former Cream bassist and vocalist. Highly anticipated at the time and subsequently praised for its decision not to completely clone the Cream sound but to seek out other reference points. Of course, with Bruce singing it couldn't be a million miles removed his previous unit and the truth of the matter is that tracks like 'You Burned The Tables On Me' are dead ringers for mid period Cream despite concious restraint. The other Cream connection here is Pete Brown who provides all the lyrics.

Look out for a minimal musical assistance consisting of just super guitarist Chris Spedding and drummer John Marshall (from Vertigo jazz-rock mavericks Nucleus) who provide solid backing for Bruce's radical bass playing and that voice.

A great album, make no mistake with all the adventurous trappings of the era offered on a plate.

Beautiful copy - totally unplayed vinyl!

This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.

Vinyl: Superb clean and shiny condition. No spindle marks and no other signs of use - I would say unplayed! Grades as shop fresh MINT!

Cover: Again, virtually no signs of use. Issued in a beautifully illustrated and complicated tri-fold 'unipak' cover. Sharp corners, one al,pst invisible ding, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is perfect - straight, stiff, uncrushed. Beautiful and impossible to find like this 45 years after release. Grades as shop fresh MINT-!
