Absolutely amazing condition of this super rare record Iron Maiden - The Soundhouse Tapes EP.
Consisting of tracks Iron Maiden on Side one and Invasion and Prowler on Side two.
This is the original pressing and certainly not one of the many fakes around.
It looks like this EP has just been stored away for 41 years. It is literally in brand new condition.
The vinyl on both sides would certainly be mint if it wasn't for a teeny manufacturing flaw on Side One. I have tried to photograph it but rest assured it does not affect the playing of this record. There are no clicks or jumps on this minor flaw. The record plays superbly on both sides.
The sleeve is also perfect and has the defining curved opening.The corners are sharp and there are no creases or nicks. The colour has not faded either.
The label does have a white speck above the 'W' in Prowler. This is again a minor printing issue.
On Rock Hard Records the catalogue number is ROK 1
Matrix codes are ROK-1A and ROK-1B.
Stamper codes +EG+ and SA are on both sides of the dead wax.
To my surprise when taking the record out of the sleeve a small paper price insert came out as well. I have never seen this before and it lists other Iron Maiden items for sale such as T-shirts and badges. This EP was priced at £1.20.
This insert is also in perfect condition and this certainly adds to the wow factor of this rare piece.
Possibly one of the best condition Soundhouse Tapes ever to be listed. Most have been played to death or the covers have frayed. This one is the genuine article and even has the insert many are unaware of.
Listing with no reserve this is as good as they come.
*EG* LYN 7627 SA ROK -1A on Side One.Side Two is *EG* LYN 7628 SA ROK -1BI didn't know the LYN existed until someone asked me to look carefully for it in the light. I have tried to photo it in the last picture. The L and N show up.
