Description

Here we have a very very rare and unusual Iron Maiden pressing. This is manufactured in Zimbabwe which in itself is up there with the rarest maiden vinyl pressings on the planet. Very very few Maiden anythings were made there let alone vinyl records. As far as I know only killers, the NOTB, Live after death, run to the hills 7" , somewhere in time and no prayer for the dying were pressed there. Nothing else. Pressed for the white population there before Mugabes purges and devastation of white culture in Zimbabwe most vinyls were destroyed and turned into handbags and fashion items when the economic depression hit the country. Very very few survive. The sleeves were crudely made from rough cardboard by bardwell and the vinyls from EMI Harare. They differ from the south African pressings both with the cream labels and the sleeve. Unfortunately this gem has not survived in its entirety as the top corner of the sleeve has been cut hence the grading. The vinyl has some light scratches but doesnt skip. A name on a label thats it. There are probably less than 50 of these out there making it extremely rare and reflected in the 99p start. Not a perfect example but you could wait many many years and need a lot of luck to get one!! Any questions please ask!!
