Iron Maiden Live After Death SOUTH AFRICA 2 LP +BOOKLET
Iron Maiden Live After Death.
1985 South African pressed EMI Records double LP set with booklet insert, housed in gatefold sleeve, EMCJD (W) 2404263."Mastered by Capitol" stamped to dead wax/run off areas, and blindstamped digits impressed near centre spindle areas. Bottom left rear of sleeve states "Manufactured and Distributed by EMI Music South Africa (PTY.) Ltd."
A very clean, but not mint set. Vinyl surfaces are mostly very clean and bright, with just a couple of visible surface scuffs, and a few superficial hairline sleeve removal scuffs. Playback throughout is excellent, however, with all marks being superficial. Labels are clean and undefaced all four sides.
LPs are both housed in plain white die-cut sleeves.
Booklet insert is clean, unmarked, and without tears. However, there is a fair amount of overall handling creasing, to inner pages as well as wraps. There are no really heavy and pronounced creases.
Gatefold sleeve is clean, bright, and without sticker or pen marks etc. There is some overall handling wear, including handling softening to the insertion side of the front part of the gatefold. Rear is a lot sharper and crisper. Some fraying and whitening to tips, the worse of this to foot of spine and top right hand corner of front of gatefold. A touch of ringwear to front and rear, but only really visible as a small white rubbing line to top and bottom edge of rear. Front of sleeve has a number of faint hairline impressions, as if someone has tied tracing the picture. This is not visible in normal usage, but becomes visible when the sleeve is rotated in front of a light source.Spine still has an overall good appearance, with just a couple of whitening hairlines, and a few pinch like creases emanating from spine area. There is no chipping or splitting to any of the edges. Inner part of gatefold is clean and bright. On the whole still has a very acceptable appearance, free of any major faults.
