Description

Here is Johnny Griffin's first effort on the Blue Note label, "Introducing Johnny Griffin". Has DG on both sides, side one shows Lex address, side two has W 63rd NYC address, etched RVG and ear on both sides. Rim is beaded, so this makes it likely a second pressing.  Record is in M- condition, no hairlines, marks or scratches. Looks to have been played very sparingly. Sleeve, however, has some issues with seam splits, as I've tried to show in the photos. Top is the worst, with split going almost entirely across, unprinted spine has wear, and bottom has a small split at opening. This would be a great copy if you happen to have a sleeve in better shape, although this one still is intact and holds the record.
