Description
I have for auction the International Artists Limited Edition Box Set. International Artist was Texas based label that recorded psychedelic and garage bands in the late 1960's. Records by the label are among the most collectible. In 1979 the founder of the company did a limited edition pressing of the LP catalog produced by the company. This box includes the following titles:

2. Red Crayola: Parable of Arable Land
3. Lost and Found: Forever Lasting Plastic Words
4. The Golden Dawn: Power Plant
5. 13th Floor Elevators: Easter Everywhere
6. Lightin' Hopkins: Free Form Patterns
7. Red Krayola: God Bless the Red Krayola and All Who Sail With It
8. 13th Floor Elevators: Live
9. 13th Floor Elevators: Bull of the Woods
10. The Bubble Puppy: A Gathering of Promises
11. Dave Allen: Color Blind
12. Endle St. Cloud: Thank You All Very Much
A search of these bands on the internet will provide background on the groups and these albums. Many are considered classics of alternative and psychedelic music. Although this is a later limited run, it is considered to be collectible as well. A similar box was listed on the Gemm Records site for $350.00.
I am the original owner of this collection, which I purchased new from a record store when it was released. Only the first album in the list has been played. This was a maximum of five times to make recordings. The rest of the time we listened to my roommate's set since he was not as much into collecting. The albums are pristine, but do show a slight yellowing, especially for the dust jackets since they are thirty years old. The white box in which they came, however, does show signs of wear and has one split corner. I did its job of protecting the records and is nothing special, but I thought I should mention it.
