LP's and Covers: NM for entire set : all LP's were played only 1-2 times after initial cleaning

A must have for all Texas Psychedelia fans. This was only available a short time in the late 70's
and was limited to 1000 box sets. These were commonly broken up and LP' sold individually.
VERY RARE to find intact, and this box set is NEAR MINT overall. All LP's sound amazing and
all covers retain perfect colour no fading, whites perfect.

There is some mythology surrounding
the source of what they pressed from, as it has been suggested they were taken mastered from
original vinyl pressings. But upon listening and comparing a few of these to original 1st stereo
pressings, there is no degration of sound, and really these are definitly on par with 1st pressings,
except for the thinner vinyl used, also the cardboard used for the covers is thinner in the box set but the printed cover slicks are perfect, either old new stock or reprinted from original Photo Plate masters. That's really the only difference as so far as I can tell.
This whole subject is not anywhere near resolved, as there is no definitive proof of the source. It is open for a
real balanced debate, no words in Acid Archives can convice me of what I hear.
Remastered LP's from vinyl sources are VERY obvious.
MORE PROBABLE is that these are from 1st Gen tapes, or the Master stampers.
The whole myth that all these master tapes are lost, is purely hyperbole...someone has the tapes
and is
pulling a Allan Klein move.

ON THAT NOTE!
This is a collection of music that is to cherish, and an investment that will guarantee to grow , due to the scarcity and
quality of this collection. Now that Roky is back in action, this is all the more relevant.
No shrink wrap is on any of these LP's, due to the fact they were starting to tighten, but a new poly sleeve
is included with each LP, and every inner sleeve is reinforced to ensure no damage is done to the spine when
stored from shifting or jarring.
