Description
I think I can say without fear of contradiction that you will go a long way to find this LP - certainly there is nothing on eBay. I recall getting strange looks from Billy McBurney of the famous Premier Record shop in the old Smithfield market in Belfast when I bought it following its release in 1966. At that time Elektra Records meant American folk/protest singers like Tom Paxton, Phil Ochs and Judy Collins and this was one of Elektra's first (perhaps even the very first) all-UK production. It was also one of renowned producer Joe Boyd's first efforts before he went on to greater things with Fairport Convention and Nick Drake. You can now get this on CD but the original vinyl version is very rare.
The vinyl is in very good condition with only some crackling on some tracks but not enough to spoil enjoyment of the record. The sleeve is also very good, being laminated on both front and back. However, there is a small split in the middle of the spine and a small tear at the bottom left of the front. There are no other splits or tears or any writing.
