The auctioned item it's one of the rarest progressive album in the world at moment and one of the rarest lps in our catalogue.
graded VG/EX- for a strict Record Collector magazine grading system
label: The original RED label with black writings it's in very nice conditions, I can see some spindle wear around centre hole on side one and some very thin parallel scratches that are noy caused by the use and I can't imagine the origin hence VG+. It's a fascinating label with the most large deep groove inside the label perimeter that I have see in my collector life.
cover: The cover it's nice if you consider that it's a plastic shopper with his handle still intact. There are creases and 2 cm of split in the centre of the bottom seam but the painting it's a still fully enjoyable. I think it's one of the fragiles covers in the vinyl seventies collecting market. The Inner sleeve it's present too and in most copies this is considered the cover because it's hard to see the plastic bag. It have some general wear so I can say VG too but it still work very well. It does have a sign that seems to me the Autograph of the Bass Player, Rick White.
vinyl: The vinyl it's in great shape with his brilliancy totally intact without marks just some lights scuffs...pressing it's excellent too so it plays without any problem.
review: This is one of the hard to find records in the down under progressive collecting market and if you are a serious record collector I think you know that I'm right. If you aspect a primitive rock blues underground forget it, this is is a refined melodic progressive with multifaceted musical execution. It's basically a refined melodic progressive with excellent male vocal and with sometime a beautiful powerful rythmic section in evidence and a rancous melody with wild guitar solo but all the time it's preceded by long flute, sax and light jazz tinged rock texture, changing of rythms and sax or vibes solos as in the great track" Through My Window" of 7.48 minutes... but I think the best one it's the 9.38 loooongggg " I Sit Alone" that it's a listening pleasure. The tracks are completelly self composted and well worth to have it in any respectable collection so Don't Miss it because you'll never see a copy like this...really!
This is a record that rarelly turns up and the vinyl it's virtually Mint. Don't miss! SORRY for the reserve price but this is really the minimum I can accept for a so rare item and this is a correct auction very different the many "pushed up" auctions I see all around! Please open your eyes!
