Description
This is the first record I ever engineered / produced / recorded and is monaural. We recorded this in the High School Band Room early 1966. "Outcast" is like the classic "Louie, Louie" while "Now That It's Over" is Rolling Stones. Duke Wright (Northland Sound) ordered the pressings from RCA for me. He was an early Mentor. 300 pressings.
This particular label version, block letters; red on gold was not repeated. One of a kind.
See my earlier "Hodag" Label offerings elsewhere. This was the first. The Hodags were numbers 2 and 3 in my catalog and the first 4 tunes to be recorded in my new Audio Unlimited Studio. See pix. It's history.
Tourville and Meyers documented all my stuff. Note the extra pix to put this record in perspective. I have a CD with all 9 x 45s and two "Bonus" unreleased cuts. That is "Rhinelander's Vinyl Garage" done with up-graded digital processing. Note the chronological order of the tunes.
This week Saturday (8/29) I will offer the three "Sonic" releases, Orange, Yellow and Red labels beginning at 9:30 PM CDST. The drummer and lead vocalist of this recording are also members of The Sons Of May; first Sonic; orange label.
Note: I won't put a "Buy It Now" price on this, won't lower the start price, and there is no reserve. Collectors welcome!
I may consider an international sale, but ask permission to bid. Ignore the shipping cost quoted; I ship actual cost. Thanks!
