Description
The Ike Quebec "Bossa Nova-Soul Samba" Blue Note 84114 record is a high-fidelity, limited-edition reissue pressed on 180g virgin vinyl by Analogue Productions in 2008.
I'm downsizing my collection and will be listing many Analog Production Acoustech Reissues that are duplicates. I bought two copies in series when these were originally released. I own the series #0269 and a few #0270 duplicates.
When my duplicates are gone, I may list others or the whole collection of over 50 #0269 limited edition Jazz Reissues. These are long out of print and are all factory sealed unless stated otherwise.
Released in 2008, this high-fidelity 45 RPM record set is pressed on virgin 180g vinyl.
From Stereophile at the time:
“Jazz fans rejoice! Not only is Music Matters releasing new 45rpm double LP reissues of classic Blue Note titles, but so is Analogue Productions.
Following the model of Analogue Productions' superb Fantasy 45 reissues, the new Blue Notes will be remastered from the original master tapes by Kevin Grey and Steve Hoffman and cut at 45rpm on two 180gm virgin vinyl discs. "Why mess with success?" asked Chad Kassem.”
Remastered by renowned sound engineers Kevin Gray and Steve Hoffman, this album showcases the talents of Art Blakey and his jazz messengers, capturing the essence of jazz music in its purest form.
Pressed in the United States, this collectible piece is a must-have for any jazz enthusiast.
As this is 45 RPM the remaster is on two LPs.
