INXS - SIMPLE SIMON / WE ARE THE VEGETABLES
Simple Simon was the debut single for arguably the most successful Australian rock band of all time, INXS. Released in May, 1980 on the Deluxe label, the song didn't make the charts, so there were not many copies made. Neither Simple Simon or the B-side, We Are The Vegetables appeared on the band's debut album later that year, making this a very rare collector's item.
The copy on offer is an original Australian pressing in excellent, near mint condition. The vinyl is immaculate, with no apparent blemishes. The record was never issued in a picture cover, so it comes in the original generic RCA sleeve, which does have some slight discoloration on the left side and a small split along the left seam. Overall though, the record and sleeve are in amazing condition considering that they are now over 35 years old!
This would be a great addition to any INXS fan's collection.
