INTRODUCING THE BEATLES "AD BACK" LP   I am offering for auction a good condition pressing of The Beatles' first American LP, Introducing The Beatles.  This is the mono pressing.  The LP number is VJLP 1062.  This is the "AD BACK" first edition of the LP issued on 1/10/64.  The label features the oval VJ logo with colorband, which is the correct label variation for this issue.  I have seen many of these LP's for sale on Ebay which did not include the correct vinyl copy with the "AD BACK" cover.  The vinyl itself has been played extensively.  It has many marks on it, but plays through with no skips.  The oval label has the words "Long Playing" and "Microgroove" on it.  This first issue includes Love Me Do and P.S. I Love You on it, which were replaced by Please Please Me and Ask Me Why in February of 1964.  Side two of the label has the initials "A. M." written in the colorband.  The front cover has the words "Printed in U.S.A" in the bottom left hand corner.  The back cover has "Ann Miller" written in black along the top of the cover.  There are also two more smaller signatures on the back cover written in blue ink.  The one in the top left corner is very light, the one in the bottom right corner is a little bolder.  The fact that the names written on the back cover correspond to the initials written on the label show that this cover and disc are the original coupling.  There is no split at all in the spine.  It looks great!  There is some splitting that has begun on the top and bottom, but there is no separation.  All in all a very desirable record for any Beatles vinyl collector.  I am studying to be a Minister and am selling this item to help pay for tuition.  All of our auction LPs are shipped in cardboard holders for ultimate protection.   See our other ebay auctions for additional great Beatles-related items, and add us to your favorite sellers lists.
