Thanks for visiting my store! Here you will find nice clean records, friendly service and great prices!
Grading
To help clarify your grading concerns here is an example:
(VG+) Still sounds great but vinyl has noticeable paper scuffing and a deeper surface mark or two. Record does not skip despite the possibility of deeper surface blemishes. There may be initial cue-burn but highly unlikely. These records are usually cleaned with gruv-glide record cleaner. Through my personal experience customers are still very happy with this condition. I usually tend to (under) grade my records to always meet your expectations. Some sellers may consider these VG++. Records below this grade will never be listed in my store. It’s not worth the risk of losing good repeat customers.
(VG++) An extremely high percentage of my records fall into this grade. There may be some very light paper scuffs (if any) and the vinyl looks and plays great. There is plenty of shine and free of distortion. May have very light dust with a small fingerprint or two. May also have a very light scratch or two that does not affect playback. Dust easily wipes away. This grading borders the mint minus grading in some cases and in other cases it narrowly exceeds the VG+ grading due to the “possibility” of light dust, fingerprints and/or very light paper scuff or two. These records may be cleaned on occasion but nearly all don’t require ant cleaning. These records are highly enjoyed and greatly appreciated with plenty of positive feedback.
(M-) A near perfect record but a tiny fingerprint or two with a tiny amount of dust narrowly misses the perfect mint rating. I would never clean this type of record. We’re talking near perfection here! Since I primarily sell records that are 10-30 years old, these records are becoming increasingly harder to find although they certainly exist and I routinely try to find them.
(Mint) Records that qualify for a mint rating look as if they were just opened and pulled from the jacket for the very first time. These records were opened and “may” have been played once or twice but the appearance is flawless. These records were opened but most likely never played.
(Brand New Sealed) Brand new Sealed means never opened and brand new just like you would find back in the day at your record store.
Sleeves/Covers
Every record will be shipped with an inner sleeve. The condition of these inner sleeves will definitely vary. I do not grade these. The outer covers will always be included and nearly all of them are original covers. If the original cover is badly damaged then I usually replace it with a black or white substitute. This is rare but does happen. Every record will always include an inner and outer sleeve. I usually do not include the optional outer plastic protection sleeve.
Record Labels
I take one picture within my listings unless it’s an high priced item. I almost always take a photo of the A side which is usually the popular side. I will indicate any writing or stickers in the above “additional notes” section. Writing on labels usually consists of names and/or bpm’s. If you are concerned about writing on B-sides please contact me first for verification.
Feedback
I will leave feedback once feedback has been left for me first. This tells me that you are happy with your purchase. There are moments when customers will ask me to leave feedback before or shortly after payment. I don’t feel comfortable doing this so please don’t ask. I understand that you take feedback seriously but the sale isn’t complete until you receive your record and are completely satisfied. If something is not right please contact me first prior to leaving neutral or negative feedback. My main goal is your happiness and repeat business.
SHIPPING
USPS media shipping within the USA is just $4.00 for the first record and only $1.00 each after (no limit). Delivery Confirmation is optional in most cases. Orders over $30.00 will include free delivery confirmation. When buying multiple records it may be wise to wait for an accurate invoice. Some older listings may have older rates. Payment is due within seven days. PayPal preferred.
Canada/Spain USPS priority shipping is $11.00 for the first record and just $3.00 each after (no limit).
Overseas USPS priority shipping (Germany, Italy, Japan, Brazil, Argentina, Poland, France etc.) is $13.00 for the first record and just $3.00 each after (no limit). I always mark records as “gift” and declare a low overall value at around one dollar per record. I also indicate that the records are used. Invoices and packing slips will NOT be sent with your order. Return labels are not store names but my own personal name. I am not responsible for records lost or damaged shipped outside USA. If reasonable time has passed and your records are undelivered please contact your post office either by phone or in person.
Packing Materials - Packing materials are expensive and many sellers work around them. I’ve seen sellers rip apart and reverse “FREE” USPS priority boxes to save money. I always “ALWAYS” use brand new record boxes specifically designed for mailing vinyl records. I tape the seams for extra protection. I also use new cardboard inserts when needed for added protection. Every package will have a “fragile” sticker placed on the front of the package.
Return Policy
In the unlikely event that you are not happy with your purchase I encourage you to contact me prior to filing a claim and/or leaving neutral or negative feedback. I work alone and personally handle every order from beginning to end. This leaved very little room for mistakes. If the record doesn’t meet your expectations and I don’t have another copy to offer then I sometimes ask for the record back. The only way to prevent mistakes and improve performance is to personally witness my own mistakes. I will work closely with the customer to reach some sort of mutual agreement. I may be able to replace a certain record and ship another exact copy at no extra cost. If a record is not received then this will not be offered until a reasonable amount of time has passed. There are times when media mail moves fast and there are times that it moves slowly. I cannot predict a timeframe but most U.S. packages do move very quickly. Refunds are rarely needed but if this is what it takes then it will be done. Record swapping is another option where I will ship a totally different record of choice at no extra cost. These records are of the same original value. Again, I will only discuss these options after a reasonable amount of time has passed.
