Description
This is a massively rare, original double LP of “Exile on Main Street” by The Rolling Stones, catalog COC 2-2900. This comes from my personal collection and is the real deal. There certainly aren’t many of these floating around.
This pressing is from the Philippines and features the alternate cover of 3-ball Charlie and blue and green Atlantic labels.
Some background - a search from reference sites indicates that three of these have been sold since 2008. An unofficial copy was pressed about a decade ago, though it is one lp instead of two and does not list the songs on front label. This was manufactured in the Philippines by the Mareco Inc under the license of Atlantic Records.
?Jacket: VG, lower left corner bump, ~4” mild bottom seam split in middle (see picture), retains solid color, both front and back hype stickers remain fully attached, mild corner bumps on lower corners (see pictures), record store price tag on inside of cover, no writing, no water damage
?Vinyl: VG+ to VG++, plays well throughout with no skips, occasional background noise, has superficial marks but none felt by finger, labels retain vibrant blue and green color, minimal spindle wear, no warping
