Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. This is the very FIRST issue of The legendary "Dialogue"album released in 1972, of which there were only 200 copies made ...

HARDLY EVER offered in any form dating back to the early '70s, the cover is near impossible to find without wear. The few early '70s releases of the album all had cover wear to some degree, mostly worse than better ... this cover is near M- and so is the record!
We investigated best we could and it appears this (NO LABEL) private press has never appeared on eBay or Discogs.

Collectors are advised to be careful BECAUSE the 6 or so known copies on that have been sold over the years on eBay were on the "COLD STUDIO" PRINTED label, which is a 1974 re-pressing, and NOT this very first 1972 (no label) issue. While the "Cold Studio" printed label issue is still very rare, it does not come close in comparing in terms of being as scarce as the 200 pressed '72 private first issue we present here for possibly the very first time on eBay.

DIALOGUE - originally released 1972 in the USA as a private press (DM-68425.) Totally rare and great psych album from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Fantastic songwriting with a strong Beatle-esque feeling. Superb album.
One of those obscurities that's rather difficult to track down; let alone adequately describe. Interestingly we've seen various reviews that label the LP everything from "psychedelic masterpiece" to comparing it to The Beatles and Badfinger.
Dialogue's Kurt Shore and Jim Stanton were apparently from the Philadelphia suburb of Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. As "Dialogue" the pair recorded their 1972 album co-produced by Rick Matos and the duo; the album featured a surprisingly polished set of pop craft perfection.
Written by Shore, (Stanton arranging), tracks such as "Think Father Think", "Aslon the Lion" and "It Scares Me So" are largely keyboard-propelled self-compositions. Full of pretty melodies and gorgeous harmony work (the one notable exception being the cloying "Sandbox"), the overall effect is more "sunshine pop" than psych. That does nothing to diminish the album's appeal to our ears. The story on the different cover versions that were released is that after the initial small press run (reportedly only 200 copies), they realized that they failed to provide anyone with information about how or where to obtain additional copies of the record. So when they decided to reissue it a couple of years later, they added a mailing address to the back. The 1974 "Cold Studio" printed label second cover version had a completely different back cover than this '72 original which sports an orange sleeve.
There are apparently at least three versions of the LP; the 1972 original that doesn't mentioned Cold Studio, and a pair of 1974 pressings, one with an address on the back, the other without and insert.

CONDITION: The cover: rated: M- front cover, near M-.back cover. One of, if not, the best cover ever offered, having virtually NO wear, which is stunning when realizing the silk screened home-made cover is incredibly wear-prone. The group members wrote their first names on appropriate photos on the front cover. Has a beautiful (ARCHIVE) fresh appearance -- there are no delete marks, no split seams, no bends, and no writing ... VERY collection worthy ...and the back silk-screened purple back cover can be found ONLY with the first 1972 issue. 1974 releases changed the back cover.
The vinyl: Rated: M- full of original shine, both sides are extremely clean making for not only a great collectible music-wise but for investmemt purposes as well. Far out sounds from the underground ... Best and ONLY first '72 print around...final collection copy ... Both custom labels are clean
