Nowadays rarely heard gamelan pelégongan (7 notes), but there is a chance for a

revival of the Kuta style.  Heard here in these 1928 Odeon/Beka recordings is

I Wayan Lotring, from Kuta, composer and master of the gamelan pelégongan.

- Gegénggongan    /    Gontang (djawa) 

E- condition.  Some crackle here and there in soft spots, and a dig on side 1 

that ticks twice, and plays through on my equipment at weight of 2 grams.

needle, using no noise reduction for grading. 
Grading scale for 78s according to VJM standards: N- E+ E E- VG+ VG VG- G+

cardboard, then use bubble wrap around and pack inside a sturdy record mailing box with
more padding material for safe transport.
