We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. The 1971 ORIGINAL LP by KREED! was manufactured in only low numbers, local to Minnesota by young hipsters who knew their stuff and how to play despite being only in mid-teens.

From 1971 and one of the rarest records in Rock history, this band was a group of junior high teenage kids at St. James School in Faribault Minnesota, a military training school in Fairbault, 50 miles South of Minneapolis in Minnesota. Although it was recorded in 1971, the band being so young it sounds more like a mid to late sixties effort. They chose the name because they were all going to an Episcopalian School - they took the word creed and replaced the 'C' with a 'K'. One David Cannon wrote all the songs on the album (except for a cover of In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida made famous by Iron Butterfly) and he was clearly a talent. Between 1976-1982 he fronted No Cheese Please, Balderdash and The Fabulous Toasters.
KREED! were together for just eight months from September 1970 until the Summer of 1971. Not many bands have produced an album of songs from such a brief association!
What they etched in forgiveness is this beyond-rare basement punk-garage teen-scene album. Has keys and guitars upfront with all the right moves; voice-change vocals, basic garage charm and sparseness -- and lyrics about girls.
All originals except an extended near 14 mins KREED! take on
"In A Gadda Da Vida." which is pretty awesome rendering a terrific fuzz-guitar soloing work-out, right there worth the addition to your valuable music library - not to mention being an ever rising investment collectible and conversation piece about incredibly young mid teen's with great capabilities ...

The cover: rated: VG+(+) & better; overall solid, light prior handling - reminding never turns up & 53 years ago micro-press. Doubtful ever will find better or SEE again. The KREED! thick cover remains totally collection worthy & historic.There are a few (back cover only) age spots (see photo #2.) There no delete marks, no split seams, no writing while maintaining strong red and white colors ... Spare originals don't exist - never turning up but once in a blue-moon(?) IF even that.
