Cover: this has some very minor ring wear on the front, and a 1.5" split on the bottom.  The bottom has a little bit more wear.  pictures are at the bottom.

Record:  Here's the good news, this record is in amazing shape!!!  It plays very beautifully!  There are some very, very minor surface marks, these do not affect play at all!  There is a weird haze on portions of both sides of the record.  I play graded this on two of my turntables (project w/ortofon needle & Numark PT 01), the marks did not affect play on my tables.  If you are not happy, let me know.

Here we go.  No messing around here.  This is one of the most sought after garage records of the 1960s. It's the Minneapolois band The Litter - "Distortions" LP.  This has fuzzed up guitars, driving rhythm section, amazing impassioned vocals.  

From the intro, Action Woman is a flame thrower garage punk single with snarling vocals and one of the great extended guitar solos courtesy of Bill Strandlof. Many feel this single was one of rock n roll’s finest ever and quite possibly Minnesota’s answer to the Stones’ Satisfaction. At this point the group were asked to record an album, since Action Woman enjoyed modest local success. Bill Strandlof recorded a great conventional garage track in Soul Searching (another Kendrick original) before he was replaced with Zippy Caplan.

"Distortions" was christened the album title after the buzzing guitar sounds emblazoned on each cut!  The Litter's Distortions album from 1967 is as much a cornerstone of any '60s punk collection as Here Are the Sonics!!! or Black Monk Time. Kicking off with the smack-you-in-the-face fuzz of the all-time classic "Action Woman," the non-stop raving album cut to pieces British Invasion covers -- like fellow Minnesotan Paul Bunyan hacking trees -- and scorches them in a bonfire that climaxes with a fierce rendering of "I'm A Man." Records are visually graded unless otherwise noted.

NM: Vinyl or jacket is absolutely flawless (I rarely use this grade).
NM-: Vinyl is almost unplayed.  Jacket shows very very minor wear.
VG++: Vinyl contains only a few very slight imperfections, likely only noticeable under direct light. jacket is nearly flawless and contains only very minor wear.
VG+: Vinyl will have a small amount of scuffs and scratches, but they are not deep and will have a minimal impact on sound (very little or no surface noise unless otherwise noted). Jacket will be intact and in very acceptable shape. However, it may show light ringwear, minor edge / corner wear, and / or a minor seam split (less than two inches).
VG: Vinyl will be visibly used, with surface marks, will play well with a tolerable amount of surface noise (unless noted).  Jacket will contain more defined wear in terms of ring, edge and corner wear.
VG-: Vinyl has not been properly cared for and will contain many scuffs and scratches and play with surface noise.  Jacket many contain minor water / mold damage as well as very defined seam, edge and ring wear.

G or below: Vinyl has not been properly cared for and contains surface marks, scratches that greatly affects the play of the record. This record will only be a play copy.  Jacket is almost useless.  This is the lowest grading that I will use.
