Hi, my name is Brian and I have been collecting vinyl for many years. My main interest has been PROGRESSIVE especially the VERTIGO SWIRL/SPIRAL LABEL, reputed to be the most collectable label in the world?

I have finally finished my SWIRL collection of over 160 albums of which most are UK pressings, and now I am going to SELL them ( I must be mad ). I have been quite fussy about the QUALITY, CONDITION and they must be the VERY FIRST PRESSINGS. The latter has been the hardest to decipher and has had me buying and selling many copies of the same album to achieve this. I have almost achieved this goal with only one or two exceptions.

I am not and have never been a 'dealer' by profession, but I have always given honest descriptions and lots of clear photo's of any items I have sold. I do know how disappointing it is when you open that package and the item has been over sold with expressions such as "AWSOME" etc when the item is only in EX- condition or worse. If you are in anyway disappointed with an item from me you are most welcome to return it with a FULL REFUND, providing it is an honest and just mistake by myself as I believe in my descriptions.

For sale here is IAN MATTHEWS--IF YOU SAW THRO' MY EYES-- UK ORIGINAL VERY FIRST PRESSING WITH VERY FIRST PRESSING SLEEVE,1971, stereo 6360034. The 39th of 87 UK pressings on this label. THE REST WILL FOLLOW.

SLEEVE.....GATEFOLD, TEXTURED and UN-LAMINATED.This sleeve is in FANTASTIC ALMOST MINT condition. The combination of a textured surface and dark inks used in manufacture make this one very prone to wear. Well here it is a GENUINE VERY FIRST PRESSING. This is an OUTSTANDING copy of this sleeve, it has that JUST OF THE PRESS look. It is very flat and square. IT STILL LOOKS LIKE NEW. The edges are MINT as is the spine. The front is MINT with NO RUBBING TO THE SURFACE, NO UNWANTED WRITING, NO STICKER TEARS, NO STICKERS, NO GLUE RESIDUE, NO RING WEAR AND NO CREASES. The rear  is in the same wonderful condition. The spine is FULLY legible and LOOKS NEW. The inside gatefold is in fantastic condition and is MINT. The only hint of wear to this sleeve is to the very tips of the corners and this is extremely minor. This album comes with I'ts ORIGINAL VERY FIRST PRESSING SWIRL INNER SLEEVE in MINTcondition . All in all this is in wonderful condition for a 35year old sleeve. IT REALLY DOES LOOK BRAND NEW??? N/MINT.

LABELS......This is a genuine first pressing. Both labels are in wonderful condition, beautifully white with only a few minor spindle marks on either side! AMAZING! This album can only have been  played on a handful of occasions. N/MINT.N/MINT

VINYL....Both sides of this fantastic album still have their JUST PRESSED deep black shine. When viewed under very strong lighting this album has 2 very light surface marks that can not be felt or heard, they have zero affect on the sound quality and produce no interference to the playback! Otherwise IT LOOKS NEW!!. In normal daylight this album is PRISTINE. I have played this album on my very sensitive and revealing LINN SONDEK and the sound is UN-WORN, it is full and crisp there is NO loss of sound quality at all, wonderful sound stage and stereo seperation. There are no clicks, pops or sticking. There is almost SILENCE between nearly all the tracks.This is such a quiet album musically that it is always found with lots of crackleing and popping, but not this one. This is a superb album in the most wonderful of conditions. These HEAVY VINYL origional pressings are second to none. This really is a top copy that any collector would be delighted to add to their collection, a real KEEPER . ( the very, very few dust crackles could probably be removed by a professional clean )A REAL CRACKER, MINT-/MINT-

THIS IS  PROBABLY THE MOST UNDERATED ALBUM ON THIS  LABEL, GETTING  HARDER TO FIND IN ANY CONDITION. IT IS SUPER RARE IN THIS BEAUTIFUL AS NEW CONDITION. DONT MISS THIS ONE.

THERE CANT BE MANY LEFT IN THIS  FANTASTIC CONDITION. "STUNNING"
