This is Husker Du's first release, the " Amusement / Statues " 7" released in 1980 on their own Reflex Records and in MINT CONDITION! THIS IS THE RARE FIRST PRESSING WITH THE REFLEX RECORDS ADDRESS IN ST.PAUL, MN ON IT! Only a few hundreds were made with this address on the total 2 500 records pressed! Subsequent pressings featured the Mendota Heights, MN address, where they moved after the first pressing, and which is featured on the second pressing of "Amusement" as well as the other early Husker Du material made after that (Like the "Everything Falls Apart" LP). EXTREMELY RARE SINCE ONLY A HANDFUL COPIES OF THIS FIRST PRESSING EXIST, ESPECIALY IN MINT CONDITION! Record features the following messages in the dead wax: "Shut up and kill yourself", "AL", "38285 - 4:19", "Do the body strut", "AL" and "38285 - 4:14". It features the songs "Statues" (4:14) which was recorded at Blackberry Way, Minneapolis, Minnesota. Produced by Husker Du ad Colin Mansfield and Engineered by Steve Fjelstad and "Amusement" (4:19), Recorded by Terry Katzman Live October 1989, Engineered by Steve Fjelstad and Colin Mansfield. Sleeve has cool artwork by Fake Name Graphx. Husker Du was: Bob Mould (also of Sugar) on Guitar and Vocals, Greg Norton on Bass and Vocals and Grant Hart (also of Nova Mob) on Drums and Vocals. Record and sleeve in MINTcondition with only some unnoticeable imprint of the vinyl in the sleeve. Record has been played once or twice only! (SEE PICTURE).
