Description
VG+ copy of The Howlin’ Wolf Album on Cadet Concept, catalog LPS‑319, with the iconic text-only cover reading “This is Howlin’ Wolf’s new album. He doesn’t like it. He didn’t like his electric guitar at first either.” This later green-label “Cadet Concept – A Division of All Platinum Record Group” stereo pressing features clean labels, strong gloss, and only light surface wear consistent with your VG+ grade. The cover retains solid structure with light ring wear, minor discoloration, and a bumped lower corner, with spine text still legible and seams intact as shown in photos.
This classic psychedelic Chicago blues LP updates Howlin’ Wolf’s Chess hits like “Spoonful,” “Smokestack Lightning,” “Moanin’ at Midnight,” “Built for Comfort,” “The Red Rooster,” “Evil,” and “Back Door Man” with heavy wah‑wah guitars, fuzz, organ, and a funkier rhythm section. Essential for fans of electric blues, Chicago blues, and late‑60s psych‑blues experiments, and a great addition for collectors of Howlin’ Wolf, Chess / Cadet Concept, or vintage All Platinum pressings.
Vinyl visually graded VG+ with light sleeve scuffs and hairlines, no feelable scratches; jacket VG+ with light edge/corner wear and small corner crease, stored in a fresh inner and outer sleeve to protect this classic LP.
