Description
Howlin' Wolf, Heart Like Railroad Steel: Memphis & Chicago Blues 1951-57 – 15 Rare & Unreleased Recordings Vol. 1 (Blues Ball 2001). The first issue (I think) of most of these tracks, made for Chess. Nine of the 12 tracks are marked as "unreleased", among them "Highway My Friend", "Streamline Woman", "Bluebird", "Walk To Camp Hall", etc. With accompanists including Willie Johnson, Smokey Smothers, Jody Williams, Hubert Sumlin, etc.
Condition: virtually as new. Disc has been played once and looks flawless. Jacket near new.
