Description

Rare original 10" LP pressing of Howard McGhee "Jazz Goes to the Battlefront" on Hi-Lo 6001. The playing surface is in nearly-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once or twice. Similarly, the cover is bright and clean throughout and looks very close to new; sharp corners, no ring wear whatsoever and no seam damage; just a ¼" ding to the lower spine corner. Although the group here goes under the name of the "Korean All Stars Sextet", the members are all Americans, except for the bass player (Chris) who is Filipino. Personnel includes J.J. Johonson, Rudy Williams and Skeeter Best.
