ONE OF THE MOST RARE AND SOUGHT AFTER JAZZ RECORDS IN THE WORLD. THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1st MONO PRESSING FROM 1958 of "Further Explorations" by Horace Silver on Blue Note.
BNLP 1589 A and BNLP 1589 B, RVG, The Ear, ETCHED IN THE DEAD WAX. Original Blue Note 47 West 63rd Address on label, Deep Groove. No "Inc" in address. This is the genuine article. 100% AUTHENTIC ORIGINAL Blue Note FIRST PRESSING.
THIS RECORD IS FROM OUR PERSONAL COLLECTION. Well maintained. Very Rare.
*Because our clients are mostly jazz collectors and connoisseurs, as we are, we made it our policy to only sell vinyl that we grade in VERY GOOD (VG) condition or better. This vinyl is in our opinion a VG+, looks and plays great.
Record Grade VG+ = Very well maintained. The vinyl is in beautiful condition. We just now listened to both sides of the whole album and it plays beautiful, such a great record. Shiny vinyl. There are some visible surface scratches from normal use and age but they hardle have an effect on the music other than an occasional pop. No warping, kept in a cool record room its whole life. A very nice playing authentic original Blue Note. (see pictures)
Jacket Grade VG+ = Shiny, clean, well maintained. No staining. We grade the jacket a VG++. No tape. This record is from our personal collection. No major defects at all, just normal use wear on corners. A very clean jacket for a 60 year old album. We have kept it in plastic for the last 58 years. A small "D" stamped on rear jacket. (see pictures)
