HORACE SILVER - SONG FOR MY FATHER, Blue Note BLP-4185, mono, 43 W 61st on jacket, New York USA on labels, Van Gelder and ear symbol in dead wax, original Blue Note inner sleeve.
On this 1963-64 recording, the musicians are Carmell Jones, Blue Mitchell (trumpet), Joe Henderson, Junior Cook (tenor sax), Horace Silver (piano), Teddy Smith, Gene Taylor (bass), Roger Humphries, Roy Brooks (drums).
The tunes are Song For My Father, The Natives Are Restless Tonight, Calcutta Cutie, Que Pasa, The Kicker, Lonely Woman.
Condition of record is E-, some light scuffing, no scratches, several spindle marks, plays clean and quiet. Jacket shows some overall wear, 1 inch seam split top right.
