Description
Up for auction is a rare original 1965 mono pressing of Horace Silver Quintet 'Song For My Father’ LP on Blue Note Records BLP 4185.
Record info:
VG+, plays great with some surface noise (more prominent on last track side 2)
Cover info:
Strong VG+, quite clean, has noticeable corner denting/creasing on two corners. It has 'review copy' stamped on top of back cover. It comes with the original Blue Note inner sleeve.
Label / Pressing info:
New York, USA label, 1965 non-deep groove with Van Gelder stamp / Ear logo on both sides in dead wax.

I grade conservatively. I’ve been selling vinyl since 1976. All records are cleaned with a VPI professional record cleaner and are shipped with records outside the covers to avoid seam damage.
