Description
Homesick James, Goin' Back Home (Trix 3315) (1976). Recorded in 1974-75 in Chicago and Somerville, TN, by Pete Lowry and issued on his label. Mostly solo, with percussion on some tracks. Tracks include "Lonesome Train", "Homecoming Blues", "1000 Women Blues", "Homesick's Contribution to Jazz", "Texas Dust", "Isolation Blues", etc. Good notes by Jim O'Neal, with much interview material.
Condition: disc as new; played once or twice at most. Jacket has corner clipped and is stamped "promotional copy"; 3" slit on top edge, bumped and creased at two corners, faded on spine. A decent copy of a scarce item not, to the seller's knowledge, available on CD.
