Description
Rare Vertigo spiral LP - Hokus Poke - Earth Harmony. As can be seen from the pictures, the condition is not great, particularly regarding the sleeve which is poor and lacks the cover flap entirely. The remaining sleeve is torn and worn away on the corners. All the track listing details are there however.
The record itself is much better, and I would say that the majority of the playing surface is excellent. There are a few surface scratches on it though, so I would rate it as a VG and it does play all the way through.
It comes complete with its spiral inner which is torn but has served to protect the record reasonably well, considering the wear on the cover. The spindle hole is not much worn and there are a relatively few spindle marks on the label, particularly on the A side. There is a reference number in pen on the edge of the inner which also appears on the inside of the cover, which indicates that the inner is original. There are no other pen marks on the label or cover.
All in all a fair copy only, but this is still a rare record and should be of interest to Vertigo collectors. When did this last appear for sale ? I spoke to one experienced dealer and he said he'd never had a copy.
The start price is the reserve and it will find its own level in the market so good luck if you're interested.
