HELLHAMMER – SATANIC RITES ORIG. DEMO 83’ (Prowlin’ Death Records) + ORIGINAL PACKAGE W/ HELLHAMMER SEAL:
This is the auction for the original Hellhammer demo 83, Satanic Rites. Everybody into metal knows Hellhammer, one of the best and influential bands ever.
In 1983 i saw a review of Triumph of Death demo in a trendie mag like the nowadays Metal Hammer, i don’t remember what mag it was but probably Aardschok zine. The Hellhammer demo got 1 of 10 points in the review!!! And also they wrote it has an horrible sound and no talent musicans, hehehe, well … that was the reason i wrote to Hellhammer first time in 1983 to the adress in review. All horrible and extreme bands were welcome at that years for me! Hellhammer was one of the firsts bands i have contact wich, as i were very young in 83’.
The winner also will get the original letter/pack where the demo comes to me from Switzerland.
The demo include the original intro and outro, and also have some particular details: On the back of the cover it have sealed: Prowlin’ Death Records in blue and this is only one sided cover (rare). 3 versions (as i know) exist of this demo, mine is one sided cover and black tape. I never saw another collector that have this demo sealed, hehehe. In the cover also says it –limited to 200 copies-
After i got and listen the Hellhammer demo, i decide to write again in 1984’ but i never got a reply back… probably my letter never arrive to Switzerland, probably they reply and never arrive to my country...who knows.
Tape plays perfectly and cover is in great conditions. About the letter/pack i cover it with a transparent tape to protect it of humidity, so the condition is also great too.
The cover is in great shape, print on glossy paper that is still shiny and looks like it was just released. Please check out the photos for more details.
