Description

This is an original UK pressing of the first release by Hatfield & The North, on the Virgin label, V2008. Similar to their second LP Rotters Club, this contains some typical English witticisms courtesy of Richard Sinclair and (the late) Pip Pyle. Excellent playing throughout, both Phil Miller and Dave Stewart really shine. Superb supporting cast including Jeremy Baines (flute), Robert Wyatt (vocals) and the Northettes on backing vocals.

Condition:  Vinyl is in VG++ condition, with excellent shine, no scratches, and no wear. There are no surface marks, and just a few spindle marks. Unfortunately this is a noisy pressing, and there is some surface noise throughout side A, though side B is better.   

Sleeve is VG++. The fully laminated gatefold shows just the slightest ring wear. No tears or sticker marks.
