You are bidding on an original Hank Williams 78 RPM recorded on the Sterling RED Label. This being one of Hank William's first recordings with Pan American and Honky Tonkin, #210. Hank Williams recorded 4 records for Sterling. This is the only Hank Williams I have ever seen on a Red Sterling Label. All others I have seen are on the Black Sterling Label. Everyone knows how rare the Sterling labels are in black. This is your opportunity to own a very rare record. There are some very serious downsides to this record. The Pan American side is in fair condition showing lots of wear and normal use, however, where I bought this record, it was on display in a person's home and he had drilled a tiny hole in the run on groove on the edge of the record. The record was hanging on the wall with a finishing nail. This does effect a few bars of the song if you wanted to play it. I have shown the hole in the pictures listed by pointing to it with a pencil. On the flip side Honky Tonkin, it appears the record has been played to death and someone has tried to clean it or ? However this did not affect the original label. Please view the pictures very carefully before bidding. Because of the condition of the record I am starting it out with a very low starting bid. Framed properly this Hank Williams Red Sterling Record would make an excellent addition to anyone's record collection. I have tried to describe and show this record as fairly as I can.
