Prestige Records PRLP 7061 - Hank Mobley - Mobley's Message LP released in 1956. This is an original first pressing on the black and yellow Prestige label with the address 446 W. 50th St., N.Y.C. and a deep groove indentation under both labels. Pressed on heavy vinyl. The hand written initials RVG are in the dead wax on both sides of the record. The condition of the record is VG+, the labels are clean, the record plays great. The cover is in VG condition, big writing on the back. The front cover is laminated. There is a 5 inch crack/seam split in the middle of the top seam. Spine and bottom seam are intact. There is wear evident on the bottom leading corner. The address on the back cover is 447 West 50th St., N.Y. 19, N.Y.. This is a very hard to find record. Personnel is Hank Mobley, tenor sax; Donald Byrd, trumpet; Jackie McLean, alto sax; Barry Harris, piano; Doug Watkins, bass; Art Taylor, drums.
